AUTHORIZING STREET CLOSURES FOR THE
PRIMO'S RUN FOR EDUCATION ON OCTOBER 10, 2004
WHEREAS, the Primo's Run for Education is scheduled to take place on Sunday,
October 10, 2004; and
WHEREAS, this is an annual event benefiting the San Ramon Valley Education
Foundation; and
WHEREAS, this route is unchanged from last year's race route and in order to ensure
the safety of the participants, it is necessary to close streets for the event (Exhibit 1);
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the following streets will be closed on
Sunday, October 10, 2004, between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.:
1. Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Front Street;
2. Hartz Avenue between Linda Mesa Avenue and Prospect Avenue;
3. Front Street between Diablo Road and Hartz Way;
4. Hartz Way between Front Street and Laurel Drive;
5. Laurel Drive between Hartz Way and the entrance to the Freitas Trail;
6. Morninghome Road between Freitas Road and Old Farm Road;
7. Old Farm Road between Morninghome Road and Contada Circle;
8. Contada Circle between Old Farm Road and Thornhill Drive;
9. Thornhill Drive between Contada Circle and Old Orchard Drive;
10. Old Orchard Drive between Thornhill Drive and Sycamore Valley Road;
11. Greenbrook Drive between Sycamore Valley Road and Paraiso Drive;
12. Paraiso Drive between Greenbrook Drive and Everett Drive;
13. Everett Drive between Paraiso Drive and Brookside Drive;
14. Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Osage Station Park;
15. E1 Capitan Drive between Osage Station Park and Greenbrook Drive;
16. Greenbrook Drive between E1 Capitan Drive and Brookside Drive; and
17. Paraiso Drive between Brookside Drive and the Iron Horse Trail.

Staff' on Diablo Road in Danville, at
the corner of Hartz Avenue. Proceed
east on Diablo Road fo Front Street
(R), to Hartz Way (L), to Laurel Way
(R), to Frietas Trail, to Friefas Road,
to Mominghome (L), fo Old Farm (L),
to Contada Cirde (L), to Thomhill (L),
to Old Orchard (R) (which becomes
Greenbrook), to Pariso (R), to Everett
(R), to Brookside (L), to Osage Park.
Stay to the left through parking lat to
vehicle gate near restrooms, then
straight on walkway to the first #Y'
in walkway leading along east side
of school, then continue straight to
entrance driveway to El Capitan (L),
to Greenbrook (R), to Brookside (R),
to El Capiton (L), to Orange Blossom
(R), to Brookside (L), to Paraiso (L), to
Iron Horse Trail (L), to Norris Canyon
Road (R), to Bishop Drive (L), to
Executive Parkway (L), to Camino
Ramon (R), to Bollinger Canyon Road
(L), to Alcosta (L), to the finish near
Iron Horse Middle School. PLEASE
NOTE: 1/2 Marathon racers will be
finishing at the same finish line as
1OK racers.
