Mayor Offenhartz requested that items (a) and (1) be removed
from the Consent Calendar.
Councilmember Lane requested that items (c) and (f) be removed
from the Consent Calendar.
It was moved by Councilmember Kennett and seconded by
councilmember Schlendorf to approve all other items on the
Consent Calendar. Motion was unanimous and so ordered.
a. Resolution No. 37-87. establishing a loading zone on Prosoect
Avenue between Hartz and Railroad Avenue
In response to a question by Mayor Offenhartz, city Engineer
Steve Lake confirmed the establishment of a time limit in the
subject area.
It was moved by Councilmember Kennett and seconded by
Councilmember McNeely to approve item (a). Motion was unanimous
and so ordered.
c. Resolution No. 50-87. establishing a policy reaarding
candidate's statements for 1987 local election pamphlets
Councilmember Lane inquired if (1) the Town had previously
collected the deposit without difficulty and (2) a 10% deposit
was standard within the County. Deputy city Clerk Nancy
Ortenblad responded in the affirmative to both questions.
