ACCEPTING THE GRANT DEEDS OF EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF
SCHOOLSTREET BETWEEN RAILROAD AVENUE AND HARTZ AVENUE
WHEREAS, Branagh Development and Pacific Union Homes are the property owners of 402
Railroad Avenue (APN 208-026-019) and 675 Hartz Avenue (APN 208-026-013); and
WHEREAS, said owners have granted to the Town of Danville, a total of 1,385 square feet of
land located along the south side of School Street between Railroad Avenue and Hartz Avenue
for public pedesthan access purposes; and
WHEREAS, the area offered for dedication are currently within an existing street and public
utility easement; and
WHEREAS, the offers of dedication are described as shown on Exhibit 1 and 2; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town of Danville does hereby accept the Grant Deeds of Easement for
public pedestrian access from the owners; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have the Grant Deeds
recorded with the office of the Contra Costa County Recorder in substantially the same form as
Exhibits 1 and 2.

GRANT DEED OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN ACCESS
FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
Cane Properties, a California General Partnership,
hereby offers to dedicate to:
Town of Danville, a municipal corporation,
the non-exclusive easement in the Town of Danville, County of Contra Costa. State of California, for public
pedestrian access for the use of the general public for pedestrian travel in, on, over, through and across
portions of the property described in Exhibit 'A' attached hereto and made a part hereof.
