HomeMy WebLinkAbout133-01RESOLUTION NO. 133-2001 APPROVING A NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE DANVILLE SOUTH PARK PLAY AREA RENOVATION, CONTRACT B-278 WHEREAS, on May 9, 2001, the Town of Danville entered into a contract with D K Environmental for the Danville South Park Play Area Renovation, Contract B-278; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under this project has been completed as of October 25, 2001, in accordance with the plans and specifications thereof; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that said work by and with D K Environmental is hereby accepted as complete; and, be it further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, a Notice of Completion for said project within ten (10) days from the date hereof. APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on December 18, 2001, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: None ABSTAINED:None ABSENT: Doyle Waldo, Arnerich, Greenberg, Shimansky MAYOR APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST: CITY CLERK NOTICE OF COMPLETION Upon Recording Return to: City Clerk Town of Danville 510 La Gonda Way Danville, CA 94526 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 3093 OF THE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE: 1. That on the 9th day of May, 2001, the Town of Danville, a municipal organization of the State of California, did enter into a contract with: D K Environmental 96 Colton Lane Martinez, CA 94553 as Contractor for certain improvement work: to wit, Danville South Park Play Area Renovation, Contract B-278 - Camino Ramon between Joaquin Drive and Franciscan Drive, APN 218-323-063 2. That the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said improvement work is: American Contractors Indemnity Company That said improvement work was accepted by the Danville Town Council as completed on the 18th day of December, 2001 3.
