HomeMy WebLinkAbout048-01RESOLUTION NO. 48-2001 APPROVING DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR HERITAGE RESOURCES IN DANVILLE WHEREAS, the development of the proposed design guidelines is in conformance with the Danville 2010 General Plan, Chapter 3 Goals and Policies for Historic Preservation and the Town's Historic PreserVation Ordinance Section 32-72 of the Danville Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the project has been found to be Categorically Exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (Sections 15331, Class 31 which addresses historical resource restoration and rehabilitation, and Section 15308, Class 8 which addresses actions by regulatory agencies for the protection of the environment); and WHEREAS, the Danville Heritage Resource Commission adopted Resolution No, 2001-03 on April 30, 2001 in support of the design guidelines; and WHEREAS, the public notice of this action was given in all respects as required by law; and WHEREAS, a staff report was submitted recommending that the Town Council approve the design guidelines; and WHEREAS, the Town Council did hear and consider all reports, recommendations, and testimony submitted in writing and presented at the hearing; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council supports the use and application of the proposed design guidelines for the preservation and protection of the Town' s significant historic sites; and APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on May 15, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Doyle, Waldo, NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY ~ Arnerich, Greenberg, Shimansky CITY CLERK
