APPROVING A QUITCLAIM DEED, GRANT DEED AND GRANT OF
EASEMENT FOR WESTRIDGE AVENUE STORM DRAIN REPAIR PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. A-327
WHEREAS, George D. and Barbara J. Cowen are the property owners of 1047 Westridge
Avenue (APN 208-361-003); and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Town of Danville to Quitclaim the existing easement for
drainage purposes located on the side and rear yard at 1047 Westridge Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to accept a Grant Deed and a Grant Easement to allow the Town of
Danville to own and maintain drainage facilities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor is authorized to execute the Quitclaim Deed of an existing drainage
easement and accepts a Grant Deed and Grant of Easement for the improved drainage facility;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have the Quitclaim Deed
recorded with the office of the Contra Costa County Recorder in substantially the same form as
Attachment C and accept the Grant Deed the same form as Attachment D and accept the Grant of
Easement for maintenance and access purposes.
