HomeMy WebLinkAbout005-01RESOLUTION NO. 5-2001 APPROVING NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE DIABLO VISTA PARK SYNTHETIC TURF BASE, CONTRACT NO. B-379 WHEREAS, on June 6, 2000, the Town of Danville entered into a contract with Bellicitti & Pelliciotti Construction, he., for the Diablo Vista Park Synthetic Turf Base, Contract No. B-379, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under this project has been completed as of December 8, 2000, in accordance with the plans and specifications thereof, now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that said work by and with Bellicitti & Pelliciotti Construction, Inc, is hereby accepted as complete; and be it further RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County Recorder of the County of Contra Cosha, a Notice of Completion for said project within ten (10) days from the date hereof. APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on February 6, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Doyle, Waldo NOES: None ABSTAINED: None ABSENT: None Arnerich, Greenberg, Shimansky MAYOR ~'~ APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST: CITY CLERK NOTICE OF COMPLETION Upon Recording Return to: City Clerk Town of Danville 510 La Gonda Way Danville, CA 94526 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 3093 OF THE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE: 1. That on the 6th day of June, 2000, the Town of Danville, a municipal organization of the State of California, did enter into a contract with: Bellicitti & Pelliciotti Construction, Inc. 400 Reed Street San Jose, CA 95050 as Contractor for certain improvement work: to wit, Diablo Vista Park Synthetic Tuff Base Contract No. B-379 2. That the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said improvement work is: Colonial American Casualty and Insurance Company That said improvement work was accepted by the Danville Town Council as completed on the 8~h day of December, 2000. Contract Summary Contract completed on December 8, 2000, Total Days - 30 Contract days allowed - 30, Extensions - 0, Total Days - 30 Original (As-Bid) Contract Amount Total - Approved Change Orders (2) Final Contract Amount $344,157.20 - 14,758.60 329,398.60 All work as described in the above named Contract between the above named Contractor and the Town of Danville has been completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
