ADOPTING THE 2000/2001 MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
FOR USER AND COST RECOVERY FEES
WHEREAS, the Town of Danville charges facility use fees for the rental and use of Town- owned
and/or maintained facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Town charges planning and engineering processing and permit fees for the
purpose of recovering the reasonable costs of providing these services; and
WHEREAS, the Town charges City Clerk and Police processing fees for the purpose of recovering
the reasonable costs of providing these services; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously established such fees as part of the Danville
Municipal Code as part of the Master Fee Schedule through resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council conducted a public hearing to receive testimony regarding the
proposed increases in user and cost recovery fees, notice of which hearing was provided as required
by law; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Master Fee Schedule for user and cost
recovery fees, as set forth in Exhibit 1 attached hereto, is hereby adopted. Any increased planning
and engineering fees shall not go into effect for 60 days from adoption of this resolution. Until then,
the existing fees shall remain in effect.

Minimum base fee of $250
T&M is time and materials charge for staff time necessary to process the permit.
Deposit amounts are set afthe assumed average cost to provide the service. If the cost to provide the service exceeds the
deposit, the applicant will be billed the cost over run. If the cost to provide the service is less than the deposit, then the unused
balance from the deposit will be refunded to the applicant.
These fees are set by Assembly Bill 3158, authorizing the County Clerk to collect fees for the Department of Fish and Game.
The Town and the County Clerk each retain $25.00 on each fee collected to cover processing expenses.
This fee may be reduced to $200 by the Development Services Director in cases of minor additions to residential or
commercial structures.
