HomeMy WebLinkAbout168-99RESOLUTION NO. 168-99 AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS ON RAMONA ROAD AT THREE LOCATIONS WHEREAS, the streets named in this resolution are maintained by the Town of Danville; and WHEREAS, traffic and engineering studies conducted by the Town establish that traffic controls are needed at all approaches to the intersections of: 1) Ramona Road and Gil BIas Road; 2) Ramona Road and Lomitas Drive; and 3) Ramona Road and Molitas Road to enhance traffic safety; and WHEREAS, the stop signs, as declared by this resolution, will facilitate the orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that pursuant to Section 21354 of the California Vehicle Code, the above named intersections are hereby declared stop intersections and stop signs shall be erected at all the vehicle entrances thereto as described above.
