AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON
PORTIONS OF VARIOUS STREETS WITHIN THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and,
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council resolves that on the basis of individual engineering and
traffic surveys, the maximum speed limit of 65 miles per hour (as indicated in Section 22349
"Maximum Speed Limit Law" of the Califomia Vehicle Code) is more than is reasonable or safe
on the street sections listed below; and
WHEREAS, the prima facie speed limits declared by this resolution will facilitate the orderly
movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that pursuant to Sections 22357 and 22358 of the
California Vehicle Code and based on an engineering and traffic survey, the following prima
facie speed limits are established:

La Gonda Way--from Danville Boulevard to 1000 feet north of E1Cerro

St. Christopher Drive--from Greenbrook Drive to E1 Capitan Drive
W. El Pintado--from El Cerro Boulevard to Diablo Road
Old Orchard Drive--from Sycamore Valley Road to Camino Tassajara
Morninghome Road--from Sycamore Valley Road to Greenbrook Drive
Del Amigo Road--from Danville Boulevard to Bradford Place
Sycamore Valley Road--from Sheri Lane to San Ramon Valley Boulevard
E! Pintado Road--from E1 Cerro Boulevard to La Gonda Way
Lawrence Road--from Camino Tassajara to end
La Gonda Way--from El Portal to end
