REJECTING BIDS FOR THE OAK HILL PARK PLAY AREA RENOVATION,
CONTRACT NO. B-275, AND CALLING FOR NEW BIDS
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council has previously approved the call for bids for Oak Hill Park
Play Area renovation; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the Town of Danville did, in open session on the 1st day of
September 1998, publicly open and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the three bids received exceeded the engineer's estimate and the City Engineer
recommends rejecting the bid and calling for new bids; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the bids for the Oak Hill Park Play Area
renovation be rejected; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is authorized to call for new bids.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on October 6, 1998 by the
following vote:
AYES: Waldo, Arnerich, Doyle, Greenberg, Shimansky
NOES: None ~~~
