AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE MAINTENANCE
SERVICES VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council approved the purchase of three new Maintenance Services
vehicles in the 1998-99 Financial Plan, and;
WHEREAS, bid proposals and specifications were sent to six Bay Area truck dealerships; and
WHEREAS, on August 18, 1998, bid proposals were due and Lithia Ford of Concord, California
was the overall low bidder; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town Manager is authorized to execute on
behalf of the Town, a written contract with Lithia Ford of Concord for $60,944.75 for the purchase
of three Maintenance Services vehicles in the form as lodged with the City Clerk, together with such
changes as may hereafter be determined necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase
the obligation of the Town thereunder, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same, and affix
thereto the official seal of the Town.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on September 1, 1998 by the
following vote:
