HomeMy WebLinkAbout127-98RESOLUTION NO. 127-98 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PARTICIPATION WITH CONTRA COSTA COUNTY ON STONE VALLEY ROAD BETWEEN GREEN VALLEY ROAD AND OAK HILL PARK WHEREAS, the Town of Danville and Contra Costa County wish to pave Stone Valley Road within the town boundaries; and WHEREAS, Contra Costa County, as a public agency, bid and awarded a contract for the pavement management work; and WHEREAS, the State and Local Transportation Partnership Program (SLTPP) awarded a grant to the Town of Danville as part of work completed in the Northeast Roadway Improvement District (NERIAD); and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville accepts and acknowledges that the bid prices and the project contract as approved by Contra Costa County meets County requirements; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer is authorized to enter into an agreement with Contra Costa County to provide pavement management services on Stone Valley Road within the Town of Danville at the bid prices set forth, in the form as lodged with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter be determined necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations to the Town thereunder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same and affix thereto the official seal of the Town; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that $48,000 is hereby appropriated from the NERIAD SLTPP Sub-Account of the CIP for this project.
