HomeMy WebLinkAbout034-98RESOLUTION NO. 34-98 APPROVING THE MID-YEAR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 FINANCIAL PLAN WHEREAS, staff has reviewed all revenue and expenditure projections which were made in preparing the Fiscal Year 1997-98 Financial Plan; and WHEREAS, three mid-year adjustments to the 1997-98 Financial Plan are recommended by staff to continue balancing expenditures with available revenues, including: · An increase in the Building and Planning Special Revenue Fund appropriations of $175,800 to fund contract inspection, plan checking, and planning services, offset by increased building and planning revenues and salary savings. · $10,000 appropriation to replace decorative banners in Old Town, funded from the Towifs contingency reserve · $10,727 increase in salary and wages for the expansion of the City Attorney/Assistant Town Manager's Administrative Secretary position from 80% to full-time, funded by available General Fund revenues. WHEREAS, sufficient funding is available in these funds; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council approve the mid-year adjustments to the Fiscal Year 1997-98 Financial Plan. APPROVED, by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting held on February 17, 1998, by the following vote: AYES: Waldo, NOES: None ABSTAINED: None ABSENT: None Arnerich, Doyle, Greenberg, Shimansky MAYOR  PPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST: CITY CLERK
