ACCEPTING GRANT MONIES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE PARK AND RIDE LOT (CIP Project No. C-065) AND
IRON HORSE TRAIL REALIGNMENT (CIP Project No. C-312)
WHEREAS, the Town actively participates in regional Transportation Demand Management
(TDM) programs; and
WHEREAS, the Town has applied for Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) monies to
expend on projects that will reduce air emissions; and
WHEREAS, $45,000 in TFCA money was approved by the Bay Area Air Quality Management
District for Danville's Park and Ride Lot project which will reduce air emissions; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council accepts and appropriates $30,000 in TFCA funds
for general construction of the Park and Ride Lot (CIP Project No. C-065) and $15,000 for the
Iron Horse Trail Realignment (CIP Project No. C-312).
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on February 3, 1998, by the
following vote:
