HomeMy WebLinkAbout167-97Recorded at request of: Town of Danville When recorded, mail to: Town of Danville City Clerk 510 LaGonda Way Danville, CA 94526r~ 740 .~ For Recorders RESOLUTION NO. 167-97 Use ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND DEDICATIONS FOR SUBDIVISION 7876, TASSAJARA RIDGE - UNIT I, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CAMINO TASSAJARA AND LAWRENCE ROAD WHEREAS, Tassajara investors, inc., is the subdivider of said subdivision; and WHEREAS, the subdivider has requested the Town of Danville accept said subdivision improvements as complete and accept the dedications offered to the Town of Danville on the recorded subdivision map of Subdivision 7876, Tassajara Ridge - Unit I (Serial No. 96-27649); and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has advised that the public improvements required as a condition of that subdivision agreement between the Town of Danville and said Subdivider have been satisfactorily completed; and WHEREAS, said subdivision lies within the corporate limits of the Town of Danville; and WHEREAS, it is now in the interest of the Town of Danville to: Accept those dedications for public streets and other easements on said subdivision map, for the benefit and use of the general public; and Accept those public improvements installed as public facilities for the benefit and use of the general public; and Abandon those public streets no longer benefitting the general public; and Reject those dedications not benefitting the general public; and WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council must act affirmatively in order for the subdivision improvements and dedications to be accepted; now, t~erefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council does hereby accept the following dedications offered for the public benefit within this subdivision: Camino Tassajara, Jasmine Way, Daisy Court, Squirrel Ridge Way, Antelope Ridge, Sweetpea Court and Bottlebrush Court are hereby accepted as public street easements. Parcels B and C are hereby accepted for trail and access purposes; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council does hereby accept those public improvements installed as a condition of this subdivision agreement; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council does hereby reject the offers of dedication of landscape easements, public service easements and emergency vehicle access easements shown on said subdivision map; and be it further RESOLVED, that Leema Drive through this subdivision, as shown on the recorded subdivision map, is hereby abandoned per section 66499.20~A of the SUbdivision Map Act; and be it further RESOLVED, that Town staff is authorized and directed to release those securities required as a condition of this subdivision in accordance with the Danville Municipal Code.
