APPROPRIATING SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDS AND)
APPROVING NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR
PAVEMENT SLURRY SEAL PROJECT 1997A
CONTRACT C-306 (97A)
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1997, the Danville Town Council awarded a contract to Valley Slurry
Seal, Inc. for Pavement Slurry Seal Project 1997A, Contract No. C-306(97A); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under this project has been completed
as of May 30, 1997, in compliance with the plans and specifications thereof; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that said work by and with Valley Slurry Seal, Inc.,
is hereby accepted as complete; and be it further
RESOLVED, the $4,091.41 reimbursement from EBMUD is hereby appropriated for said project;
and be it further
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the final contract amount of $267,320.41 is hereby
approved; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County Recorder
of the County of Contra Costa, a Notice of Completion for said project within ten (10) days from
the date hereof.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting on July 1, 1997, by the following
vote:
