AUTHORIZING CLOSURE OF STREETS FOR THE
1997 PRIMO'S RUN
ON SUNDAY~ OCTOBER 129 1997
WHEREAS, Primo's Run for Education is scheduled to take place on Sunday,
October 12, 1997; and
WHEREAS, this is an annual event benefitting the San Ramon Valley Education
Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the half marathon race routes through the Town of Danville; and
WHEREAS, this route is unchanged from last year's race route and requires street
closures between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the street sections listed
below are hereby ordered closed to vehicular traffic between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and
9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 12, 1997:
1. Hartz Avenue between Linda Mesa Avenue and Prospect Avenue;
2. Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Front Street;
3. Front Street between Diablo Road and Hartz Way;
4. Hartz Way between Front Street and Laurel Drive;
5. Laurel Drive between Hartz Way and the end of Laurel Drive at the entrance
to the Freitas Trail;
6. Freitas Trail between Laurel Drive and Freitas Road;
7. Freitas Road between Freitas Trail and Morninghome Road;
8. Morninghome Road between Freitas Road and Old Farm Road;
9. Old Farm Road between Morninghome Road and Contada Circle;
10. Contada Circle between Old Farm Road and Thornhill Road;
11. Thornhill Road between Contada Circle and Old Orchard Drive;
12. Old Orchard Drive between Thornhill Road and Paraiso Drive;
13. Paraiso Drive between Old Orchard Drive and Everett Drive;
14. Everett Drive between Paraiso Drive and Brookside Drive;
15. Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Osage Station Park;
16. Osage Station Park Vehicle Gate leading to park path between Brookside Drive
and path at entrance of Charlotte Wood School onto El Capitan Drive;
17. E1 Capitan Drive between Osage Station Park and Greenbrook Drive;
18. Greenbrook Drive between E1 Capitan Drive and the Iron Horse Trail;
19. Iron Horse Trail between Greenbrook Drive and Paraiso Drive;
20. Paraiso Drive between Iron Horse Trail and Camino Ramon;
21. Camino Ramon between Paraiso Drive and Fostoria Way; and
22. Fostoria Way between Camino Ramon and Camino Ramon into San Ramon.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting on February 4, 1997, by
the following vote:

Park, stay to left though parking lot to vehicle gate near
restrooms, straight on walkway to the first "Y" in walkway
leading along east side of' school, when walkway meets the
east entrance to school, continue straight on entrance

trail (R) T Paraiso (L) T Camino Ramon (L) T Fostoria (L)
