APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PAVEMENT
MANAGEMENT; AND APPROVING NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR
PAVEMENT SUBDRAIN PROJECT 1996, CONTRACT NO. C-038(96A)
WHEREAS, on August 6, 1996, the Danville Town Council awarded a contract to Upgrade
Construction, Inc. for the purpose of installing subdrains in various streets; and
WHEREAS, additional work was needed to complete the project in a satisfactory manner
resulting in expenditures exceeding the contract price, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under this project has been
completed as of November 13, 1996, in compliance with the plans and specifications thereof;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that said work by and with Upgrade Construction,
Inc., is hereby accepted as complete; and be it further
RESOLVED, that $4,575.40 be appropriated from the 1996/97 Pavement Management Program
account to cover the final cost of this project; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County
Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, a Notice of Completion for said project within ten (10)
days from the date hereof.
