HomeMy WebLinkAbout127-96RESOLUTION NO. 127-96 AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON PORTIONS OF VARIOUS STREETS WITHIN THE TOWN OF DANVILLE WHEREAS, The California Vehicle Code establishes prima facie speed limits which may be increased or decreased based on local conditions; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has conducted individual engineering and traffic surveys on streets maintained by the Town; and, WHEREAS, based on these engineering and traffic surveys, the prima facie speed limits declared by this resolution will facilitate the orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Sections 22357 and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, the following prima facie speed limits are established: 25 m.p.h. on: BROOKSIDE DRIVE--from Laurel Drive to Orange Blossom Way. DIABLO ROAD--from Hartz Avenue to Via Hermosa. EL CAPITAN DRIVE--from Camino Ramon to St. Regis Drive-- Silverlake Drive. OLD BLACKHAWK ROAD--from Camino Tassajara to end. DANVII.I.E BOULEVARD--from Railroad Avenue to Del Amigo Road. GREENBROOK DRIVE--from San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Sycamore Valley Road. 30 m.p.h. on: SAN RAMON VAII,EY BOULEVARD--from Hartz Way to Podva Road (S. Leg). 35 m.p.h. on: EL CAPITAN DRIVE--from St. Regis Drive--Silverlake Drive to Crow Canyon Road. DANVILLE BOULEVARD--from Del Amigo Road to El Portal. 40 m.p.h. on: SAN RAMON VALLEY BOULEVARD--from Podva Road (S. Leg) to 1800' S. of Midland Way. 50 m.p.h. on: SAN RAMON VP, IJ.EY BOULEVARD--from 1800' S. of Midland Way to San Ramon City Limits.
