HomeMy WebLinkAbout033-96RESOLUTION NO. 33-96 DESIGNATING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF THE ANNUAL REPORT FOR DANVILLE STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1983-1 WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 72-83 this Town Council ordered the formation of, and levied the first assessment within the Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District 1983-1, (the "District,') pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and Highways Code) (hereafter "the Act,'); and WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed improvements and any substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing improvements are generally as described on Exhibit I attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof; now, therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville does hereby designate Berryman and Hennigar as District Engineer for purposes of preparing and filing with the City Clerk a written report in accordance with Section 22565 et. seq. of the Act. Said Engineer is hereby directed to apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits received from said improvements by the lots, pieces and parcels of land within the District, and said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation of filing forthwith. APPROVED BY the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on March 19, 1996 by the following vote: AYES: Greenberg, NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None Shimansky, Arnerich, Doyle, Waldo MAYOR APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST: CITY CLERK DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENTS To~rN OF DANVILLE DANVILLE STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1983-1 FISCAL YEAR 1996-97 The improvements which can be operated, maintained and serviced by the District consist of landscaping, sweet lighting, public park and building facilities and appurtenant facilities including, but not limited to personnel, electrical energy, utilities such as water, materials, contractual services, and other items necessary for the facilities described below. (1) Landscapin~ The landscaping improvements which will be operated, maintained and serviced by the District consist of the following sweetscapes and feature areas listed below: Sweetscapes Diablo Road Danville Boulevard San Ramon Valley Boulevard Camino Tassajara Sycamore Valley Road El Cerro Boulevard Camino Ramon Greenbrook Drive El Capitan Drive Old Orchard Road The Historic Downtown Area Feature Areas Creek Edge Treatment Freeway Interchanges Entries Intersections Annual Report Preparation LIAD Assessment District 1983-1 March 19, 1996 EXHIBIT 1 OF RES.
