DESIGNATING THE DISTRICT ENGINEER AND DIRECTING
PREPARATION OF THE
ANNUAL REPORT
FOR DANVILLE STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1983-1
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 72-83 this Town Council ordered the formation of, and
levied the first assessment within the Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment
District 1983-1, (the "District,') pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting
Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and Highways
Code) (hereafter "the Act,'); and
WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed improvements and any
substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing improvements are generally as
described on Exhibit I attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof; now, therefore be
it
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville does hereby designate
Berryman and Hennigar as District Engineer for purposes of preparing and filing with the
City Clerk a written report in accordance with Section 22565 et. seq. of the Act. Said
Engineer is hereby directed to apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits
received from said improvements by the lots, pieces and parcels of land within the
District, and said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation of filing
forthwith.

The improvements which can be operated, maintained and serviced by the District consist
of landscaping, sweet lighting, public park and building facilities and appurtenant facilities
including, but not limited to personnel, electrical energy, utilities such as water, materials,
contractual services, and other items necessary for the facilities described below.
