HomeMy WebLinkAbout005-96RESOLUTION NO. 5-96 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE EMPLOYER'S CONTRIBUTION UNDER THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL CARE ACT WHEREAS, Government Code Section 22825.6 provides that a local agency contracting under the Public Employees' Medical and Hospital Care Act shall fix the amount of the employer's contribution at an amount not less than the amount required under Section 22825 of the Act; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville hereinafter referred to as "the Town" is the local agency contracting under the Act; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the employer's contribution for each employee, retiree, or survivor shall be the amount necessary to pay the full cost of his/her enrollment, including the enrollment of his/her family members in a health benefits plan up to a maximum of $16 per month; plus administrative fees and Contingency Reserve Fund Assessments; and, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution will become effective the first day of the second month following the month in which the resolution is filed with the Board of Administration, Public Employee's Retirement System, 400 P Street, Sacramento, CA 94229-2714. This resolution also supersedes Town of Danville Resolutions Nos. 33-89 and 90-89.
