HomeMy WebLinkAbout115-95,r~'~¸ RESOLUTION NO. 115-95 APPROVING AWARD OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE EL CAPITAN DRIVE AND CAMINO RAMON ENTRY LANDSCAPE WHERF~S, Town Council has approved the construction of certain improvements and authorized the bidding of the El Capitan Drive and Camino Ramon Entry; and WHEREAS, The City Clerk has, in open session, at the time and place noticed in the call for bids, publicly opened and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and WHEREAS, the low bidder is Adobe West Landscaping Company, Inc., and the City Engineer has recommended awarding a contract for said project to said firm; and WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to have said project constructed in accordance with the Capital Improvement Program; now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Manager be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with Adobe West Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $18,741 plus a 25% contingency of $4,685 for a project total of $23,426 in the form on file with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereinafter become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations of the Town thereunder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same and affix thereto the official seal of the Town; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of adoption of this Resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works contract award to the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, CA 94101, and should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeyman be made, the Town shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such finds.
