RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
FORMING A FINANCIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville desires to provide advice to the
Town Council concerning the Town's finances; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville desires to encourage broad
participation from the community; and
WHEREAS, these desires can reasonably be achieved by the formation of a Financial
Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the scope and charge of such a committee is to focus on broad financial
issues such as internal procedures, financial planning and forecasting, review of
quarterly revenue and expenditure status, treasury functions, and public financings or
refinancings; and
WHERF~S, such a committee would be comprised of seven Town of Danville residents
appointed at large by the entire Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Advisory Committee will advise the Town Council on such
matters; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Advisory Committee will have a duration of 18 months from
January 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996, at which time the Town Council will evaluate the
committee's performance and value; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, determined and ordered by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that
a Financial Advisory Committee is hereby created for the purpose of financial expertise
and advice. Such committee to be made up of seven Town of Danville residents
appointed at large by the entire Town Council. Such committee shall have a duration
of 18 months; at such time its performance and value to the Town Council to be
evaluated by the Town Council.

December 6, 1994, by the following vote:
