HomeMy WebLinkAbout151-93 RESOLUTION NO. 151-93 ADJUSTING EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION BY 3.5% RETROACTIVE TO AUGUST 1, 1993 WHEREAS, the 1993-94 first quarter financial report has been reviewed by the Town Council and found to be an accurate presentation of the Town's financial position; and WHEREAS, the Town's financial performance through the first part of 1993-94 suggests that revenue and expenditure projections for the year are ahead of projections in the adopted budget; and WHEREAS, the Town Manager has submitted recommendations to provide an average merit increase of 3.5% to Town employees; and WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Town as an employer to provide wages which are competitive; and WHEREAS, funds for the increase are budgeted and appropriated within the 93-94 Financial Plan; and WHEREAS, town employees are deserving of a merit based pay adjustment based upon their accomplishments of annual performance objectives over the past year; now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville adjust employee compensation by an average merit increase of 3.5%; and be it further RESOLVED, that the increase is retroactive to August 1, 1993. APPROVED, by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on November 16, 1993 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: GREENBERG, LANE, RITCHEY SHIMANSKY, DOYLE NONE NONE z/CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST: CITY CLERK
