DECLARING STOP INTERSECTIONS ON GIL BIAS ROAD
WHEREAS, Gil Bias Road, Ramona Road, Lomitas Road and Molitas Road are maintained
by the Town of Danville; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves on the basis of an
Engineering and traffic study, that additional traffic controls are needed at the
intersections of Gil Bias Road and Ramona Road, Gil Bias Road and Lomitas Road, and
Gil Bias and Molitas Road; and,
WHEREAS, the stop signs as declared by this resolution will facilitate the orderly
movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Section
21354 of the California Vehicle Code, the above named intersections are hereby declared
stop intersections and stop signs shall be erected at the south entrance of the intersection
of Gil Bias Road with Ramona Road, at all entrances of the intersection of Gil Bias Road
with Lomitas Road, and at the west entrance of the intersection of Gil Blas Road with
Molitas Road.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting held on May 18, 1993, by
the following vote:
AYES: Greenberg, Lane, Ritchey, Shimansky
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Doyle
