HomeMy WebLinkAbout185-92RESOLUTION NO. 185-92 CONSENTING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH LAWS IN DANVILLE BY THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Health Officer currently enforces state health and sanitation laws in Danville; and WHEREAS, California Health and Safety Code, Section 476 provides that a County Health Officer shall enforce health laws and regulations in a municipality when the governing body of the municipality consents to it; and WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to consent to the contra Costa County Health Officer performing the duties of a public health officer in Danville; and WHEREAS, the public health, safety and welfare will be served by giving such consent; now, therefore,. be it RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that consent is hereby given for the Health Officer of the Contra Costa County to enforce and observe in the Town of Danville all Orders, quarantine regulations and rules prescribed by the State Department of Health Services, and other rules and regulations issued under the provisions of the California Health and Safety Code. APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville at a Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, December 15, 1992, by the following vote: AYES: SHIMANSKY, RITCHEY, DOYLE, GREENBERG, LANE NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ABSENT: NONE APPROVED AS TO FORM: ATTEST: (~'~ CITY CLERK
