DECLARING STOP INTERSECTIONS
WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and,
WHERF~S, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves on the basis of an
engineering and traffic study, that additional traffic controls are needed at the intersections
of El Dorado Avenue at Prospect Avenue and Canfield Drive at St. Helena Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the stop signs as declared by this resolution will facilitate the orderly
movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Section
21354 of the California Vehicle Code, the above named intersections are hereby declared
stop intersections and a stop sign shall be erected at the south entrance of El Dorado
Avenue at Prospect Avenue and at the east entrance of Canfield Drive at St. Helena Drive.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting held on December 15,
1992, by the following vote:
AYES: SHIMANSKY, RITCHEY, DOYLE, GREENBERG, LANE
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
