HomeMy WebLinkAbout175-92 RESOLUTION NO. 175 - 92 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR A TRAFFIC STUDY OF THE PROPOSED MCDONALD'S DOWNTOWN RESTAURANT WHEREAS, the Town of Danville requires professional consulting services to document the traffic and transportation impacts and mitigation measures of the proposed downtown McDonald's restaurant; and WHEREAS, Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc. has prepared a scope of work to conduct these analyses; and WHEREAS, funding for this work was not included in the Town of Danville Financial Plan Fiscal Years 1992.94; and WHEREAS the Town Council must appropriate funds in order to retain and pay the consultant; and WHEREAS, McDonald's Corporation will pay the entire cost of the traffic study; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Danville appropriates $10,000 to the Special Revenue -- Planning account to cover the costs of the traffic study. APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville at a Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, November 17 1992 by the following vote: AYES: LANE, NOES: NONE ABSTMN: NONE ABSENT: NONE SHIMANSKY, DOYLE, GREENBERG, RITCHEY APPROVED AS TO FORM: ATTEST: CITY ATTORNEY CITY CLERK
