HomeMy WebLinkAbout159-92RESOLUTION NO. 159-92 APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT NO. 91-30c FOR HAP MAGEE RANCH PARK-PHASE I WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously approved funding for the design and construction of the Hap Magee Ranch Park-Phase I; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the Town of Danville did, in open session on the 14th day of October 1992, publicly open and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and WHEREAS, AV + C Construction of San Bruno, California was the low bidder with a total bid of $492,232.60; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has appropriated a total of $787,440 for the project and the total project cost is anticipated to be $787,440; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the Town Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to execute on behalf of the Town, the contract for Hap Magee Ranch Park-Phase I with A V + C Construction, in the form as lodged with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations of the Town thereunder; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of this Resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works contract award to the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, California, 94101. Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made, the Town shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such findings; and be it APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting on October 20, 1'992 by the following vote: AYES: Lane, Greenberg, Doyle, NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None Ritchey, Shimansky APPROVED AS TO FORM: f ATTEST: CITY CLERK PAGE 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 159-92
