DECLARING PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS
ON PORTIONS OF CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves that on the basis of
individual engineering and traffic surveys, a speed limit of 55 miles per hour upon the
following street sections is more than is reasonable or safe; and,
WHEREAS, the prima facie speed limits declared by this resolution will facilitate the
orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Town Council oft he Town of Danville that pursuant to Sections 22357
and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, the following prima facie speed limits are
established:
25 m.p.h. on:
MORNINGHOME to
Greenbrook Drive.
OLD ORCHARD to
Camino Tassajara.
PARAISO DRIVE--from Camino Ramon to Greenbrook Drive.
ROAD--from Sycamore Valley Road
ROAD--from Sycamore Valley Road
30 m.p.h. on:
EL CERRO BOULEVARD--from Danville Boulevard to Diablo
Road.
GREEN VALLEY ROAD--from Diablo Road to Stone Valley
Road.
35 m.p.h. on:
CAMINO TASSAJARA--from Diablo Road to Sycamore Valley
Road.
STONE VALLEY ROAD--from Glenwood Court to Green
Valley Road.
SYCAMORE VALLEY ROAD--from San Ramon Valley
Boulevard to Camino Ramon.
40 m.p.h. on:
CROW CANYON ROAD--from San Ramon City Limits to
Camino Tassajara.
45 m.p.h. on:
CAMINO TASSAJARA--from Crow Canyon Road to the Town
of Danville City limits.
SYCAMORE VALLEY ROAD--from Camino Ramon to Camino
Tassajara.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting held on September 1,
1992, by the following vote:
AYES: LANE, SHIMANSKY, DOYLE, GREENBERG, RITCHEY
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
