AUTHORIZING PARTIAL STREET CLOSURES IN DAVlLLE TO FACILITATE
THE ANNUAL PRIMO'S RUN FOR EDUCATION
WHEREAS, this is an annual event benefitting the San Ramon Valley Education
Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the half marathon race route goes through the Town of Danville; and
WHEREAS, the event requires partial street closures between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 1992, and
WHEREAS, the Town's Transportation Manager recommends that permission be granted
to Primo's Pizza to partially close (except for local and emergency traffic) the following
roads for the purpose of permitting the Primo's Run for Education:
1. Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Front Street
2. Front Street between Diablo Road and Hartz Avenue
3. Hartz Avenue between Front Street and Laurel Drive
4. Laurel Drive between Hartz Avenue and the end of Laurel Drive at the
entrance to the Freitas Trail
5. Freims Trail between Laurel Drive and Freitas Road
6. Freims Road between Freims Trail and Morninghome Road
7. Morninghome Road between Freims Road and Old Farm Road
8. Old Farm Road between Morninghome Road and Contada Circle
9. Contada Circle between Old Farm Road and Thornhill Road
10. Thornhill Road between Contada Circle and Old Orchard Drive
11. Old Orchard Drive between Thornhill Road and Paraiso Drive
12. Paraiso Drive between Old Orchard Drive and Everett Drive
13. Everett Drive between Paraiso Drive and Brookside Drive
14. Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Osage Station Park
15. Osage Station Park Vehicle Gate leading to park path between Brookside Drive
and path at entrance of Charlotte Wood School onto El Capitan Drive
16. El Capitan Drive between Osage Station Park and Greenbrook Drive
17. Greenbrook Drive between El CapRan Drive and the Iron Horse Trail
18. Iron Horse Trail between Greenbrook Drive and Paraiso Drive
19. Paraiso Drive between Ironhorse Trail and Camino Ramon
20. Camino Ramon between Paraiso and Fostoria Way
21. Fostoria Way between Camino Ramon and Camino Ramon into San Ramon;
now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the street sections listed
above are hereby ordered closed to vehicular traffic between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 1992.
