APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE
ALAMO SPRINGS DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BUDGET
WHEREAS, Town Council Resolution No. 98-89 provided for the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) entered into between the Town of Danville and Contra Costa
County establishing a mechanism for a joint development review process of the 155 +/-
acre Alamo Springs residential proposal (30+/- acres in the Town limits); and
WHEREAS, the MOU established a budget estimate for the review of the project
($200,000) and indicated that if costs of project review exceeded the budget estimate that
the developer would contribute the additional funds necessary to allow full review of the
development proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council subsequently authorized additional appropriations to allow
continuation of the development review process for the project (February, 1991 - $20,000
September, 1991 - $45,150 and March, 1992 - $10,000); and
WHEREAS, the project manager for the Alamo Springs project (Nancy Stoltz with Cannon
Design Group) has estimated that an additional $31,000 will be necessary to allow
continuation of the development review process for the project; and
WHEREAS, Larry Scott, Vice President, American Real Estate Group (property owners) has
submitted the $31,000 necessary to cover the requested appropriation; now, therefore be
it
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville hereby appropriates an
additional $31,000 to the Alamo Springs Development Review fund (Account No.006-650)
and authorizes the City Manager to amend the contract amount of the consultant contract
with Cannon Design Group (project manager) for a like amount.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting held on Tuesday, August
4, 1992, by the following vote:
