A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT NO. 91-04
FOR THE MONTAIR SCHOOL/PARK PROJECT - PHASE I, AND
APPROPRIATING $5,115 IN ADDITIONAL PROJECT FUNDING
WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously approved bidding the Montair School/Park
Project - Phase I (Contract No. 91-04); and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this Town did, in open session on the 28th day of July, 1992,
publicly open and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder is Contra Costa Landscape, and the City Engineer has
recommended awarding a contract for the project to said ficni; and
WHEREAS, the Town has received $4,115 in additional project funding from the Montair
School PTA and $1,000 from the sale of plans and specifications which must be
appropriated in order to be used towards the project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville, that the Town Manager be,
and hereby is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with Contra
Costa Landscape, for work in connection with the Montair School/Park Project - Phase I,
in the form as lodged with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter
become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations of
the Town thereunder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same and affix thereto the official seal of the
Town; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council hereby appropriates the sum of $5,115 in
additional funding into the Montair School/Park Project; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of
the Resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works contract award to the Department of
Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O. Box 602, San Francisco,
California, 94101. Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ration of apprentices
to journeymen be made, the Town shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards
of such findings.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on August 4, 1992, by the
following vote:
