RESOLUTION NO. 98-92
AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR TOWN
EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Town as an employer to provide wages and
supplemental benefits which are competitive and meet the health and welfare needs of its
employees; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has recommended that the Town establish an additional
employer contribution 'of $20.14 per month for all insurance benefits made available
under the Supplemental Benefit Policy for eligible employees, to be prorated for
permanent part-time employees; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has also recommended that the following four ranges be
increased to reflect the result of added job responsibilities due to rightsizing:
Records Specialist:
Legal Secretary:
Account Technician:
Account Clerk II:
10% (to Administrative Secretary range)
5% (to Sec to Town Manager range)
20% (to Engineering Technician range)
7% (to Administrative Secretary range); and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has also recommended that the following positions be
deleted/added/reclassified to reflect organizational rightsizing:

Economic Development Director
Chief Building Inspector
Supervising Plans Examiner
Community Preservation Specialist I & II
Grading Inspector
Secretary to the Town Manager
Program Coordinator
Add:
Assistant Town Manager (Administrative Sentices Director range)
Administrative Technician (Administrative Secretary range)
Town Receptionist (Secretary II range)
Special Events Coordinator (Volunteer Coordinator range)
Reclassify:
Assistant Planner to Associate Planner
Secretary I to Town Receptionist (Support Services)
Account Clerk I to Administrative Technician;
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville does hereby adopt the
Compensation Plan for Town Employees for Fiscal Year 1992-93 as detailed in Exhibit A.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on June 30, 1992 by the
following vote:

ABSENT: NONE
