HomeMy WebLinkAbout229-91 RESOLUTION NO. 229-91 APPROVING THE QUITCLAIM DEED TO BELLETERRE OWNERS ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has acquired the subject property from the Roman Catholic Church through the efforts and expense of Ahmanson Development Company; and WHEREAS, the property should be held in fee title by Ahmanson Development Company's successor in interest; and WHEREAS, Belleterre Owners Association, a California Non-Profit Corporation is the successor in interest of Ahmanson Development Company; and WHEREAS, the subject property lies within the Town of Danville at the northeast corner of Camino Tassajara and Old Blackhawk Road; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has only need for a landscape maintenance easement within the subject property; and WHEREAS, the attached quitclaim deed will transfer fee title to the Belleterre Owners Association while providing the Town with a landscape maintenance easement; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the Quitclaim of the subject property to Belleterre Owners Association and the retention of a landscape maintenance easement for the Town of Danville is in the interests of the public; and, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Quitclaim is hereby approved and the Town staff is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the Town. The Town of Danville does hereby reserve unto itself an easement across herein above parcel 4, for the purposes of Landscape Maintenance. containing 0.075 acres, part of assessor parcel number 203-200-08 See attached exhibit "A" for sketch C by Steven C.
