HomeMy WebLinkAbout195-91RESOLUTION NO. 195-91 INITIATING DISCUSSIONS WITH THE SAN RAMON VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR EXAMINING THE FEASIBILITY OF UPSIZING MULTI-USE FACILITIES AT THREE DANVILLE SCHOOL SITES WHEREAS, Danville has limited indoor facilities suitable for community use; and WHEREAS, community needs for recreational uses surpass available facilities; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has a desire to provide adequate recreational facilities for community use; and WHEREAS, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District is building multi-purpose facilities which could be enlarged to maximize recreational use by the community; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the Town Council hereby directs staff and Mayor to initiate discussions with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District with the objective of examining the feasibility of multi-use facilities at three Danville school sites with the intent of returning at the next Town Council Meeting for a decision.
