DECLARING PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS
ON PORTIONS OF CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves that on the basis of
individual engineering and traffic surveys, a speed limit of 55 miles per hour upon the
following street sections is more than is reasonable or safe; and,
WHE~, the prima facie speed limits declared by this resolution will facilitate the
orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Sections 22357
and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code, the following prima facie speed limits are
established:
25 m.p.h. on:
BROOKSIDE DRIVE--from Laurel Drive to Orange Blossom Way.
DANVILLE BOULEVARD--from El Cerro Boulevard to La Gonda Way.
DEL AMIGO ROAD--from Danville Boulevard to Bradford Place.
DIABLO ROAD--from Hartz Avenue to Via Hermosa.
EL CAPITAhi DRiVE--from St. Regis Drive to Camino Ramon.
EL PINTADO ROAD, WEST-from El Cerro Boulevard to Diablo Road.
GREENBROOK DRIVE--from San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Sycamore
Valley Road.
LA GONDA WAY--from Danville Boulevard to .2 mile N. of E1 Cerro
Boulevard.
LAUREL DRiVE-from Hartz Way to Brookside Drive.
VERONA AVENUE--from Del Amigo Road to Linda Mesa Avenue.
30 m.p.h. on:
EL PINTADO ROAD--from La Gonda Way to E1 Cerro Boulevard.
SAN RAMON VALLEY BOULEVARD--from South Hartz Avenue to Podva
Road.
35 m.p.h. on:
CAMINO RAMON--from Greenbrook Drive to Fostoria Way.
DANVILLE BOULEVARD--from north Town Limits to E1 Cerro Boulevard.
DIABLO ROAD--from Via Hermosa to east Town Limits.
EL CAPITAN DRIVE-from Crow Canyon Road to St. Regis Drive.
LA GONDA WAY--from .2 mile N. of El Cerro Boulevard to E1 Portal.
40 m.p.h. on:
CAMINO RAMON--~om Sycamore Valley Road to Greenbrook Drive.
SAN RAMON VAI.I.EY BOULEVARD-from Podva Road to .3 mile S. of
Midland Way.
50 m.p.h. on:
SAN RAMON VALLEY BOULEVARD-from .3 mile S. of Midland Way to the
San Ramon City Limits.
