HomeMy WebLinkAbout123-91RESOLUTION NO. 123-91 AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR TOWN EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991-92 WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Town as an employer to provide wages and supplemental benefits which are competitive and meet the health and welfare needs of its employees; and WHEREAS, the Town Manager has submitted recommendations to increase all salary ranges by 4.0 percent to maintain the Town's competitive relationship with comparable cities; and WHEREAS, the Town Manager has also recommended that the Town establish an additional employer contribution of $29.96 per month for single coverage, $59.62 for married coverage and $83.84 for family coverage for all insurance benefits made available under the Supplemental Benefit Policy for eligible employees, to be prorated for permanent part-time employees; and WHEREAS, the Town Manager has also recommended that one 2/3 Secretary I position in Administrative Services be reclassified to one full time Secretary II position, and one 1/2 time Permit Technician in the Building Department be reclassified to a 1/2 time Secretary/Permit Technician with the same Salary range as Administrative Secretary; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville, that the Compensation Plan for Town Employees for Fiscal Year 1991-92, as detailed in Exhibit A, is hereby adopted.
