HomeMy WebLinkAbout093-91RESOLUTION NO. 93-91 APPROVING ~ APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE IRON HORSE TRAIL S~F.W~ CROSSING I~TROVEMENIS (CIP 91-10) WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has entered into an agreement with East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) dated February 19, 1991; and WHEREAS, said agreement requires the improvement of four street crossings of the Iron Horse Trail; and WHEREAS, the subject street crossings of San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Sycamore Valley Road, El Capitan and Greenbrook Drive all lie within the Town of Danville; and WHEREAS, the street crossings must be improved prior to June 30, 1992 in order to qualify for funding of Measure C funds; and WHEREAS, the Town will be reimbursed $80,000 from EBRPD, who administers Measure C funds; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville intends to install $80,000 worth of signalization and transportation improvements at the four street crossing through the use of design consultants and improvement contracts; and WHEREAS, the contracts associated with this project are expected to be less than $ 50,000; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that $80,000 be appropriated from unappropriated Park Land In Lieu funds (Account Number 040-000.000-460.000, aka Park Fund) and transferred to the Iron Horse Trail Street Crossing Improvement accounts for the Capital Improvement Program Project Number 91-10 ($15,000 for design to Account Number 041-656.000-787.000 and $65,000 for construction to Account Number 041-656.000-903.000); and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that Town Council hereby authorizes and directs the Town Manager and staff to proceed with the execution of appropriate contracts for the improvements identified herein.
