HomeMy WebLinkAbout001-91RESOLUTION NO. 1-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE ACCEPTING WORK AS COMPLETE IN CONNECTION WITH SYCAMORE VALLEY PARK PHASE I - GRADING WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the work under the contract described as Sycamore Valley Park Phase I - Grading (Contract 89-11) has been completed in compliance with the plans and specifications; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that said work by and with Independent Construction Company, Inc., is hereby accepted as complete; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, a Notice of Completion of said project within ten days from the date hereof. APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville at a regular meeting on January 2, 1991, by the following vote: AYES: Greenberg, Lane, Ritchey, NOES: NONE ABSTAINED: NONE ABSENT: NONE Schlendorf, Shimansky MAYOR ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY CLERK NOTICE OF COMPLETION Upon Recording Return to: City Engineer Town of Danville 510 La Gonda Way Danville, CA 94526 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 3093 OF THE CALIFORNIA CML CODE: , That on the 6th day of March, 1990, the Town of Danville, a municipal organization of the State of California, did enter into a contract with: Independent Construction Company, Inc. P.O. Box 5307 Concord, CA 94524 as Contractor for certain improvement work: to wit, Sycamore Valley Park Improvements - Phase I Contract # 89-11 . That the surety upon the bond of the Contractor for said improvement work is: Reliance Insurance Company San Francisco, CA . That said improvement work was accepted by the Town Council of the Town of Danville as completed on the 2nd day of January. Contract Summary . Contract completed on November 30, 1990 Contract days allowed 100 Extensions 85 Total Days 185 Total Days 185 5. Original (As-Bid) Contract Amount $1,979,963.00 Total -Approved Change Orders (7) $ 870,630.00 Final Contract Amount $2,850,593.00 All work as described in the above-named Contract between the above-named Contractor and the Town of Danville has been completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
