A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR
TRAD LANDSCAPING CONTRACT NO. 90-6
WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously approved bidding for the TRAD Landscaping project
(Contract No. 90-6); and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this Town did, in open session on the 5th day of October, 1990
publicly open and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder is RMT Landscaping Contractors, Inc., and the City Engineer has
recommended awarding a contract for the project to such firm; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the TRAD bond proceeds and Interest account for the
construction of this project and the total cost is estimated to be $591,565; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville, that the Town Manager be, and
hereby is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with RMT Landscaping
Contractors, Inc. for work in connection with TRAD Landscaping in the form as lodged with the
City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter become necessary, provided such
changes do not materially increase the obligations of the Town thereunder, and to receive and
approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same
and affix thereto the official seal of this Town; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of this
Resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works contract award to the Department of Industrial
Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, California, 94101.
Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made,
the Town shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such findings.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on October 16, 1990, by the
following vote:
