HomeMy WebLinkAbout171-90RESOLUTION NO. 171-90 DESIGNATING THE REMOVAL OF VEHICLES FROM TOWN-OWNED PROPERTIES WHEREAS, the Town owns properties located in various areas throughout its jurisdiction that are intended for uses other than for the parking of vehicles; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves on the basis of a review of those properties existing today, and of those properties yet to be acquired, that the parking of vehicles upon those present and future properties, would constitute a public hazard and an attractive nuisance to the community; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council directs the Town Manager, at his discretion, to post any Town owned and controlled property not normally designed and intended for use by motor vehicles, with signs giving notice to the public that any vehicles left standing, or parked, on the property will be removed at the vehicle owner's expense; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Section 22651 of the California Vehicle Code, Town properties when posted by the Town Manager shall have signs reading: "NO TRESPASSING--VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE, SECTION 22651 C.V.C."
