HomeMy WebLinkAbout101-90RESOLUTION NO. 101-90 DESIGNATING NO STOPPING ZONES ON PORTIONS OF BLEMER ROAD WHEREAS, portions of the north and south sides of BLEMER ROAD do not have parking restrictions; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Danville resolves that on the basis of a traffic and engineering survey, and on the recommendations of our traffic staff, the following sections of BLEMER ROAD are in need of 'no stopping' restrictions on school days: ROAD ROAD ROAD 1. the north side of BLEMER ROAD from a point 650 feet west of GREEN VALLEY west for a distance of 260 feet; and, 2. the south side of BLEMER ROAD from a point 530 feet west of GREEN VALLEY west for a distance of 30 feet; and, 3. the south side of BLEMER ROAD from a point 880 feet west of GREEN VALLEY west for a distance of 30 feet; and, WHEREAS, traffic control devices at these locations will enhance traffic safety; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code, "NO STOPPING; 7:45 A.M. - 3:15 P.M., SCHOOL DAYS" signs shall be installed on the respective above-named street sections. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: GREENBERG, LANE, RITCHEY, SCHLENDORF, SHIMANSKY NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ABSENT: NONE ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM:
