HomeMy WebLinkAbout086-90 Resolution No. 86-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES WHEREAS, On August 7, 1989 the Town Council did authorize staff to hire an architect to design and build the new Danville Branch library; and WHEREAS, Staff, with the assistance of Councilmember Greenberg, the Contra Costa County Librarian and the Town's library program consultant, did conduct a formal Request for Qualification and Request for Proposal process; and WHEREAS, the Town selection committee selected five firms from a field of 14 to submit proposals of which 3 firms filed formal proposals; and WHEREAS, after extensive evaluation of the proposals and interviews with the principles of each firm the committee determined that the most qualified and appropriate bidder is the firm of Robinson, Mills and Williams; and WHEREAS, a contract has been negotiated with the firm of Robinson, Mills and Williams; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville that the Mayor be, and hereby is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a professional services agreement with the architectural firm of Robinson, Mills and Williams in the form as lodged with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations of the Town thereunder. PASSED, following vote: GREENBERG, LANE, RITCHEY, SCHLENDORF, SHIMANSKY APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June 1990 by the AYES: NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE APPROVED AS TO FORM: ATTEST:
