Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Danville
Approving an Operating Agreement
with Pacific Coast Farmers' Association to Establish
a Danville Farmers' Market
Whereas, the residents of the Town and surrounding communities will benefit from the
availability of tree and vine ripened produce;
Whereas, a Farmers' Market will foster a small town atmosphere and is compatible with
the scale and feeling of our downtown; and
whereas, the market will bring new shoppers to our downtown businesses on a regular
basis; and
Whereas, funding is availble for support of the market in the economic development
budget; now therefore
Be it resolved that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to execute, on behalf of the
Town, an operating agreement with Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association to provide
a Danville farmers' market;
fu~vther be it resolved that such approval is contingent upon approval and execution
of an encroachment permit and right to enter agreement with Pacific Coast Farmers'
Market Association.
Passed, approved, and adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Danville at a
regular meeting this 3rd day of April 1990 by the follwing vote:
