A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
PHASE I SYCAMORE VALLEY PARK/MUNICIPAL SERVICE CENTER PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously approved funding for
the grading of the Phase I Sycamore Valley Park/Municipal Service
Center Project, Contract No. 89-11; and
WHEREAS, Town called for bids for the grading work on
January 16, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this Town did, in open session on
the 26th day of February, 1990, publicly open and read aloud the
sealed bids received as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was determined to be
G. Reed, Incorporated/Independent Construction Company .a Joint
Venture, of California; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended adoption of a
resolution for the purpose of awarding the contract to the low
bidder, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville,
that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to e~etute, on behalf
of the Town, contract for grading work with G. Reed,
Incorporated%Independent Construction Company in the form as lodged
with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter
become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase
the obligations of the Town thereunder; and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to approve all bonds in connection therewith, and
to attest same and to affix thereto the official seal of this Town.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Town Council
of the Town of Danville, State of California, at a meeting thereof
held on the 6th day of March, 1990 by the following vote.
