A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
Authorizing Changes to the Compensation Plan for Town Employees
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Town as an employer to
provide wages and supplemental benefits for its employees
which are competitive and which meet the health and
welfare needs of employees, and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has directed the Town Manager, serving
as Personnel Officer, to periodically evaluate the
compensation paid to employees and recommend adjustments
as needed to ensure equitable and competitive
compensation for all employees; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has submitted recommendations to adopt
specified changes in the compensation plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Danville to adopt the amended compensation plan shown in Attachment
A, with adjustments to become effective September 19, 1989.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of
Danville at a regular meeting duly held thereof, this 18thday of
September, 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: GREENBERG, JAGGER, LANE, RITCHEY, SCHLENDORF
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
