HomeMy WebLinkAbout121-89 RESOLUTION NO. 121-89 A RESOLUTION OF THE DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL APPROPRIATING $90,000 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - GENERAL PURPOSE REVENUE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREPARING PRELIMINARY AND FINAL DESIGN FOR PHASE 1 OF THE CAMINO RAMON EXTENSION WHEREAS, on June 6, 1989 the voters of the Town of Danville enacted Initiative Measure A which amended the Danville General Plan to show Camino Ramon extended from its present terminus southward to Fostoria Way; and WHEREAS, on July 17, 1989 the Danville Town Council directed staff to implement a phased construction program for the extension of Camino Ramon; and WHEREAS, Phase One of ~ch construction program includes aerial base mapping of Camino Ramon, preliminary and final design work for additional curb, gutter, sidewalk, pavement and modifications to existing roadway segments, and design of three traffic signals; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to enlist outside technical assistance to accomplish such work; and WHEREAS, it is estimated that the cost of such work will not exceed $90,000; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Danville, that the sum of $90,000 is hereby appropriated from the Town's Capital Improvement Fund - General Purpose Revenue, for the purpose of retaining outside technical assistance to perform preliminary and final signal and roadway design work for Phase I of the Camino Ramon Extension project.
