RESOLUTION NO. 89- 89
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF ANNUAL REPORT
FOR DANVILLE STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1983-1
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 72-83, this Town Council
ordered the formation of and levied the first assessment within the
Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District 1983-1,
(the "District") pursuan~ to the provisions of the Landscaping and
Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California
Streets and Highways Code) (hereinafter "the act"); and
WHEREAS, Sections 22620 et seq. of the Act provide for
the levy of annual assessments after formation of the District;
WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed
improvements and any substantial changes proposed to me made to the
existing improvements are generally as described on Exhibit A
attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Danville Town
Council does hereby designate Santina & Thompson, Inc. as engineer
for purposes of preparing and filing with the Clerk a written
report in accordance with Section 22565 et seq. of the Act; said
Engineer is hereby directed to apportion said assessments in
accordance to the benefits received from said improvements by the
lots, pieces and parcels of land within the District, and said
Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation and
filing forthwith.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1989.

Description of Improvements
The "Danville Streets Lighting and Landscape Assesment District
No. 1983-1" provides for the levy and collection of assessments
sufficient to pay for improvements generally described as
fol lows:
The installation of landscaping, public lighting facilities
and facilities appurtenant thereto or which are necessary
or convenient for their maintenance or servicing, and the
maintenance or servicing of the foregoing. Installation of
landscape improvements will be continued, drought
permitting, in conformance with the "Danville Streetscape
Beautification Guidelines". If the drought continues, funds
for landscape improvements will be held in reserve for
future installation.
